![]() Jessica was born in a rather run of the mill middle class family of Los Angeles. It was actually a fairly run of the mill family - the father worked, the mother stayed at home to raise her and her brother Joshua who was two years older than her. Most of her contact when she was younger was with her brother and his friends as well their mother who tried to get her into dolls and the like but in the end they just held no interest for her. When she was young, her brother introduced her to all the toys he liked the play with, just because she loved spending time with him. Even from when she was just a young baby she would cry when he wasn't around, clinging to him like no other. He was her big brother, best friend and protector, at least to her. The first time he went off to school without her had her throwing a massive tantrum all day until he returned home to find her crying in the corner. Afterwards she threw herself at him and wouldn't let him go, no matter what her mother did to pry her off him. She wanted her brother Joshua and didn't want to let him out of her sight again! In time she did grow used to the fact that Joshua would be leaving her but it didn't mean she liked it. After school though she still insisted on spending as much time with him as possible much to her mother's distress who had been trying to get her to interact with other girls her age. Starting school herself was an interesting experience to say the least. It was there that she had her first solid interaction with girls her age and she hated it, she just didn't get them at all. Instead she found herself spending time with the boys- or at least attempting to since they swore she had cooties! In time though she grew to be friends with some of the boys in her year and a small handful of the girls but truth be told she didn't connect that well with the girls, they were just too different. While she did sometimes wear dresses etc. she much preferred dressing in 'boy' clothes, playing computer games and other non-girly and non-suitable things as her parents used to call them - before they accepted there was no changing who she was. Through school she was a happy child and did quite well in all of her subjects for the most part though maths was her best one, well apart from sport that was. Truth be told, while she did enjoy playing some of the sport computer games she wasn't all that athletic herself and struggled a bit in that subject much to her shame. Oh she wasn't horrible at it but she wasn't the best at it either. During her senior year at High School, she had her first and only boyfriend. The two of them dated for the majority of that year and are still really good friends. He was her first in all things relationship wise and she doesn't regret it at all. The two of them parted on good terms, with no bad feelings between them at all. Graduating from school last September, she is attending college to do a double degree in Maths and Computer Games design at the local university.
